Technical training programs are experimenting with new technologies to improve knowledge transfer and retention, responding to industry demand and new approaches to engaging students in the classroom.

Point of view camera (PoV) is one type of wearable technologies that is affecting teaching and learning in vocational education. It enables teachers to produce video recordings of procedures, to communicate ideas effectively to students and explain the steps required to perform a given task.

Video content is ubiquitous, and teachers should explore new tools for producing teaching/learning video material.

In this workshop, we cover the basics including recording equipment, editing tools and sharing our videos to students and faculty.
